Wells' Farrago

Pharyngula: Fresh PIGDID
On: The Politically Incorrect Guide to Darwinism and Intelligent Design

They're drinking from the Wells of deep delusion.
That mine of quotes he delves is rich indeed
From which he poaches diamonds in profusion
To fill the sandbag levees of his creed.

The flood he fights is only just a theory;
By light of Moon he toils against the tides;
With every shovelful he grows less weary;
His great commission succors and provides.

I looked into the John as one who tries
To find a catchy phrase for him, a hook:
"Here lies a saint. In steadfast faith he lies."
(Not for his grave. A warning on his book.)
